Malayāḷam in three domains
Natural history, modern fiction and Nāyar kinship
I studied āyurveda with Ashtavaidyan Vayaskara N. S. Mooss in Kottayam (Kerala) in 1976–1978 (when in Kottayam with my family) and 1981–1984 (when in Pondicherry). From the 1990s I have been reading modern fiction in Malayāḷam and historical accounts of Nāyar kinship.
I have no qualms about mixing English with French, Malayāḷam and Sanskrit. Polyglossy is inherent in this kind of researches.
